SL Green Finalizes Two New Leases at 521 Fifth

SL Green Realty Corp. has secured a pair of full-floor leases totaling nearly 30,000 square feet at its 521 Fifth Ave. office property. Insurance broker NFP Corporate Services LLC signed a 10-year and five-month, 17,538 square-foot lease, while Douglass Winthrop Advisors committed to 12,394 square feet for 10 years and four months.

“521 Fifth is perfectly situated near major transit hubs and Bryant Park, providing tenants with plenty of transportation options and significant proximity to clients and services that will help them grow their business,” said Steve Durels, SL Green’s EVP and director of leasing and real property. The tenant roster includes Equinox Fitness, Royal Healthcare, Mortgage Industry Advisory Corp, Urban Outfitters and CFC Capital.

NFP was represented by CBRE’s Michael Monahan, while Transwestern’s Patrick R. Heeg advised Douglass Winthrop. The landlord was represented in both transactions by Natasha Brown in-house, and a Cushman & Wakefield leasing team.
