Skywalker Adds to DFW Office Holdings

Skywalker Property Partners acquired the 73,747-square-foot Eagle Parkway One at 2301 Eagle Parkway from Group O. The office, originally built by Hillwood, is located in AllianceTexas, the 27,000-acre master-planned development that features Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport.

The Dallas Business Journal reports the building was purchased using Skywalker’s $200 million fund. The fund focuses on distressed properties nationwide. The firm is focusing on buildings that need improvements or have maturing debt. The firm plans to do some lobby and elevator improvements.

This is Skywalker’s fifth acquisition with the fund, representing about $50 million of the total fund. The group also purchased a 232,541-square-foot office building at 429 LBJ Freeway in north Dallas and two industrial properties in Granbury, southwest of Fort Worth.
