SkySong’s Next Building Set to Launch at ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center

Plaza Companies is set to begin work on SkySong 5 at The ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center in Scottsdale, AZ. A groundbreaking ceremony is planned July 9 for a $43-million six-story building, which will be the the tallest on campus planned for 868,457 square feet of office space.

“SkySong 5 will house a new wave of exciting and innovative companies that are increasingly being drawn to Scottsdale’s skilled workforce and quality of life,” said Plaza Companies’ Sharon Harper, the project’s master developer.

The project includes extensive outdoor areas, a large second-story outdoor patio, as well as meeting and event spaces. Located on the northwest corner of the iconic SkySong shade structure along Scottsdale Road, SkySong 5 will total 151,318 square feet and be constructed to meet LEED certification standards.

SkySong 1 and 2 opened in 2008. SkySong 3 opened in early 2015, and SkySong 4 opened in fall 2016. More than 60 companies and roughly 2,000 employees now call SkySong home.
