Skylark to Open at JBG Smith’s West Half Development in Navy Yard

JBG SMITH announced that the new bar and billiards room, Skylark, has leased street-level space at the base of West Half, the firm’s 465-unit residential tower in Navy Yard.

Expected to open this fall, Skylark’s new 3,948-square-foot space will feature pool tables, dart boards, and televised sports. Amy Rice of Rice Retail Advisors represented JBG SMITH in the transaction. Jared Meier of CBRE represented Skylark in the transaction. The private patio spans nearly 2,000 square feet and is among the largest in Navy Yard.

“Skylark’s arrival makes Navy Yard an even better place to live, work, and play,” said Dan Salcetti, Vice President of Commercial Asset Management at JBG SMITH. ” It’s an excellent addition to the experiential retail offerings we have intentionally cultivated to complement the vibrancy of the neighborhood.” Designed by New York-based ODA Architecture, West Half consists of two levels of retail with 465 rental apartments above.
