Skender Completes Full Building Office Fit-Out for Retailer HQ

Skender, serving as general contractor, recently completed the interior renovation of the 40,000-square-foot headquarters of Vital Proteins, a private retailer of health supplement products. Vital Proteins has assumed full occupancy of the four-story 939 W. Fulton St., one block from Google’s Midwest headquarters in the Fulton Market District.

Vital Proteins relocated 130 employees from its former offices at 1201 W. Washington to accommodate the business’ rapidly growing workforce. The technology-rich office space offers open office workstation areas, private offices, conference rooms of varying size, two reception areas, a warming pantry and large café. Skender collaborated with SCB and JLL to complete the project.

Separately, Crain’s Chicago Business reported that North Carolina-based Asana Partners has just acquired 939 W. Fulton and two nearby Fulton Market properties from a joint venture of New York City-based Madison Capital and Bethesda, MD-based ASB Real Estate Investments for an undisclosed sum.
