Skechers Backfills Pier 1 Location in Austin

Athletic and lifestyle footwear and apparel brand Skechers has leased a 9,368-square-foot freestanding retail building at The Homestead, a retail center located at the northwest corner of U.S. Highway 183 and Lakeline Mall Drive in Austin, for a new location. The Skechers lease backfills a location formerly occupied by Pier 1.

Jeff Lewis and Cameron Longmire with Weitzman handled negotiations as exclusive leasing agent for the shopping center. Retail Advisor LLC represented the retailer.

At The Homestead, Skechers joins a lineup that includes Barnes & Noble, Petco, Salons by JC, Texadelphia, Marble Slab Creamery and several others.
