Mike Aparicio will step aside from his role as executive vice president in Skanska USA Civil's West Coast region and two executives will be promoted

Skanska USA Civil Shifts West Coast Leadership

Skanska announced leadership shifts in its USA Civil operations’ West Coast executive team. Mike Aparicio will step aside from his role as EVP of the West Coast region, serving as SVP of operations as he transitions toward future retirement. James Bailey will move into the role of EVP and Ryan Clayton will be promoted to SVP, general manager. These changes will be effective August 7. 

“Mike has been a force in the construction industry and a huge asset to our team over the past 15 years,” said Don Fusco, president and CEO of Skanska USA’s Civil operations. “Throughout his career, Mike has built an incredible team that will lead us forward into the next chapter and I appreciate the opportunity to partner with him on this transition.” 

Aparicio joined Skanska in 2008. Throughout his career, he has delivered some of the most significant infrastructure developments in the Los Angeles region.
