Skanska has signed a long-term lease with a global advertising technology leader for a total of 47,126 square feet or two floors of office space at The Eight. The tenant is The Trade Desk, reported the Puget Sound Business Journal citing industry sources.

“Bellevue is home to so many world-class, global, innovative companies, and The Eight represents the kind of workplace these companies want and expect as they grow and compete for both talent and business,” said Charlie Foushée, EVP and regional manager for Skanska USA Commercial Development’s Seattle region.

Since breaking ground in June 2021, The Eight has achieved WiredScore Platinum, Salmon-Safe, Fitwel Level 2, and SmartScore certifications. Eighty percent of the office space is now leased, with five floors currently available.

Designed by Pickard Chilton, The Eight has a 7,000-square-foot open plaza, 11,000 square feet for local retail operators, and an additional 1,800-square-foot mass timber pavilion. The Eight represents Skanska’s sixth development project in the Puget Sound region and its second project in Bellevue.
