Skanska Sells Boston’s 101 Seaport for $452M
Swedish company Skanska has sold its 101 Seaport office development in Boston to Union Investment Real Estate GMBH for $452 million. The 410,000-square-foot, LEED-certified office complex was just completed.
Built by Skanska USA, Skanska’s New York-based development arm, the property was 91% occupied at the time of sale. Skanska is one tenant, as is PricewaterhouseCoopers, which relocated its more than 3,000 employees to the office late last year.
Skanska is one of the world’s leading project development and construction groups, with expertise in construction, development of commercial and residential premises, and public-private partnerships projects.
