Skanska Sells 11-Story DC Office Tower for $163M
Construction and development company Skanska has divested from 99M, a 234,000-square-foot office tower in Washington, D.C., for $163 million.
The 11-story LEED Gold certified tower is currently 87% leased. Tenants include Common Grounds, Pyxera Global and Give Campus. The property also includes ground-floor retail as well as a rooftop terrace. Construction on the property began in the third quarter of 2015, and was completed in Q2 2018.
An affiliate of Polinger Development Co. acquired the property. The transaction will be recorded by Skanska USA Commercial Development in the fourth quarter 2019. Skanska’s real estate developments in the greater Washington area include the office building 2112 Penn, the luxury apartment building RESA, the office building 1776 Wilson Blvd. and the office building 733 10th and G.
