Skanska has announced the acquisition of a 41,000-square-foot land parcel in downtown Bellevue, WA that will be the site of a new office property focused on sustainability. The boutique building will offer 150,000 square feet of office space and will be situated very near Skanska’s current project, The Eight. 

“Being able to invest in the same block as our project, The Eight, makes this land acquisition even more exciting”, said Skanska’s Murphy McCullough in a news release, adding, “We look forward to furthering our investment into downtown Bellevue and creating an inspiring space that is highly sustainable and highlights our commitment to the community and environment.” 

The parcel is very close to major employers including Amazon and Microsoft’s Bellevue campuses as well as Symetra and Concur. The location is also commuter friendly and in close proximity to several shopping and retail destinations.
