Skanska Promotes VP to Lead Growth in New England

Skanska has promoted Mark Lootz to VP – account manager. Within this new role, Lootz will be responsible for managing and advancing the growth of Skanska New England’s operations across the commercial, education, healthcare and sports and recreation markets.

“Mark’s leadership, deep technical expertise and collaborative approach have made him a trusted partner to both our clients and project teams,” said Bryan Northrop, EVP – general manager Skanska USA Building. “Over the past 13 years, he has successfully delivered some of our region’s most complex projects, while mentoring the next generation of talent within the firm. We look forward to seeing him continue strengthening our firm’s presence in New England in his new role.”

During his 13-year tenure at Skanska, Lootz has led projects spanning commercial, healthcare, sports and higher education, including Watermark, Two Drydock, the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Emergency Department and the Simmons University Living Learning Center. He also leads the firm’s Special Projects Group.

Paul Bubny serves as Senior Content Director for Connect Commercial Real Estate, a role to which he brings 16-plus years’ experience covering the commercial real estate industry and 30-plus years in business-to-business journalism.
