Skanska Plans New Restaurant at The Eight in Downtown Bellevue

Skanska announced that Sea Creatures, a family of locally owned and operated Seattle restaurants, has signed a lease at The Eight, a 25-story, 541,000-square-foot office tower located at 10770 NE 8th St. in downtown Bellevue.

The new restaurant will mark Sea Creatures’ first expansion to the Eastside, adding to The Eight’s fully leased ground-floor retail lineup. Sea Creatures is owned and operated by Renee Erickson and her partners. “Sea Creatures has helped shape this region’s dining landscape over the past few decades, and bringing Renee and her team to Bellevue is an exciting milestone for The Eight,” said Charlie Foushée, executive vice president and regional manager at Skanska in Seattle.

Completed in 2025 and designed by Pickard Chilton, The Eight is Bellevue’s first LEED v4 Core & Shell Platinum project. Skanska has leased more than 93 percent of The Eight’s office space to date.
