Development and construction company Skanska USA has appointed Laura Hawley as VP of Business Development for Skanska USA Building. Based in San Francisco, Hawley will be responsible for helping grow Skanska’s footprint, leading market and pursuit strategy, and building long-term relationships across market sectors in Northern California.

“With her extensive experience marketing and growing leading construction and design companies throughout the region and beyond, we are thrilled to welcome Laura to our San Francisco team,” said Skanska EVP Gordon Childress. “We look forward to seeing the impact her leadership will have on our team.”

Hawley joins Skanska from DPR Construction, where she focused on the company’s Healthcare Core Market in Northern California. She is a lifetime Bay Area resident and holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree from Santa Clara University.
