SJP Hires Leasing Veteran Zach Freeman
SJP Properties has hired Zachary Freeman (pictured) as SVP. Most recently a VP with Blackstone’s Equity Office, Freeman will now oversee leasing and marketing for SJP’s New York City commercial portfolio, and work with the firm’s executive team to identify potential investment, acquisition, development and joint venture opportunities throughout Manhattan and the boroughs.
“Zach’s knowledge of the local market, as well as the deep relationships he has forged throughout the brokerage and investment communities, will serve us well as we strategically expand our New York City footprint,” said SJP CEO Steven Pozycki.
Before joining Equity Office (recently rebranded as EQ Office) as head of leasing for its New York-area portfolio, Freeman spent 14 years at CBRE in New York, during which he developed a specialization in repositioning assets. At CBRE, Freeman was responsible for leasing, marketing and asset management on a total of 9.5 million square feet of commercial space.
