Six Flags to Sell Seven Parks to EPR Properties in $331M Deal

EPR Properties has entered into definitive agreements to acquire a portfolio of seven regional parks from Six Flags Entertainment Corporation in a transaction valued at $331 million in cash.

The seven parks comprise over 1,600 acres across Missouri, Minnesota, Texas, Michigan, New York, and Canada. The entertainment destinations collectively generated $260 million in net revenue and hosted 4.5 million guests in 2025. The six regional parks located throughout the U.S. will be leased to and operated by Enchanted Parks pursuant to a long-term master lease, and the one park in Canada will be leased to and operated by La Ronde Operations, Inc.

“This strategic acquisition represents a compelling opportunity to expand our attractions portfolio with high-quality experiential real estate assets in established regional markets,” said Gregory K. Silvers, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EPR Properties. The parks will continue their regular operating schedules.
