Sitex Makes Paramus Acquisition, Arranges Perth Amboy Lease

Sitex Group, a private equity real estate firm focused on industrial assets in the New York metro area, has acquired 160 Route 17 North in Paramus, NJ from an unnamed transportation copany. In another transaction, Sitex signed Carvana to a full facility lease in Perth Amboy, NJ.

The transportation company signed a long-term lease to remain at the Paramus property, which serves as a mission critical maintenance facility and parking hub.  Transwestern’s Marc Imrem brokered the sale.

Carvana, one of the country’s largest e-commerce auto retailers, signed a long-term lease at 440 Florida Grove Rd. in Perth Amboy.  CBRE’s Larry Schiffenhaus, Tom Monahan and Steve D’Amato arranged the transaction.

“The acquisition of the Paramus property is a great example of our team continuing to acquire well-located, infill industrial assets throughout the New York metro area,’ said Sitex principal Brake Chroman. ‘We are also excited about the Carvana lease.”
