Sitex Acquired More Than $250M in Real Estate This Year

Sitex Group, a private equity real estate firm that focuses on acquiring, developing and repositioning industrial assets, has acquired over $250 million in transactions in New Jersey and New York since the beginning of 2023.

“Despite market uncertainty, and a general slowdown across the board, we continue to grow our portfolio with high-quality properties in Tier 1 locations,” said Blake Chroman, a principal with Sitex.

The commercial real estate assets include an off-market, three-building, 10-acre industrial campus at 980 New Durham Rd. in Edison, New Jersey and a five-acre site with a 20,000-square-foot vehicle maintenance building at 290 Veterans Blvd. in Rutherford, New Jersey. The firm plans to modernize the acquired assets and repurpose them for use by companies with large vehicle fleets. Sitex Group also made several acquisitions in 2022, including properties in North Bergen, North Brunswick, Teterboro, Avenel, and Mahwah in New Jersey.
