Kate Jordan 2022 SIOR DC President

SIOR Members Elect Kate Jordan President of MD, DC and N VA Chapter

Kate Jordan, SIOR, principal of Lee & Associates in Maryland, has been elected president of the Maryland, District of Columbia, and Northern Virginia Chapter of SOIR®. Jordan also serves as vice president for NAIOP Maryland, which represents the interests of the commercial real estate industry throughout the state.

Jordan becomes the third female to hold this distinction for the local SIOR chapter; there are currently three women presidents among 48 SIOR chapters nationwide.

“The Maryland-Washington, D.C.- Northern Virginia region remains among the highest-performing area nationally in the industrial, warehouse and data center categories, due to the outstanding consumer demographics and diverse business climate, and our members play significant roles in the leasing and sale of high-profile transactions, said Jordan. “Together with our executive committee, we intend to further elevate the SIOR brand regionally and educate the business community about the immense value of working with a SIOR professional.”

About Lisa McDuffie

Lisa McDuffie arrives at ConnectCRE via REALTOR® world, where she served for nearly two decades as communications director for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® organizations. She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as he makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
