SIOR Chicago Awards Real Estate Scholarships

SIOR Chicago Chapter and the SIOR Foundation have awarded four scholarships totaling $12,000. Each of the four students received a scholarship of $3,000.

The Chicago Chapter of SIOR 2019 Scholarship Committee included Terri Alexander, SIOR, of Transwestern; Larry Goldwasser, SIOR, of Cushman and Wakefield; and Sean Henrick, SIOR, of Cushman and Wakefield.

Since 1984, the SIOR Chicago Chapter has provided nearly $200,000 in real estate scholarships to 78 students. The program recognizes and rewards outstanding academic performance in business and real estate courses. In addition to education funding, recipients are also provided access to career opportunities and internship programs available within the Chicago real estate community.

Roger Cannaday, associate professor emeritus at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, helped create the SIOR Chicago Scholarship award.
