Single-Tenant Office Changes Hands in Milwaukee’s Third Ward
Colliers arranged the investment sale of 417 E. Chicago St. in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. The 42,000-square-foot Class A headquarters is currently occupied by tenant Eversana, a life sciences company.
The building was originally constructed in 1964 and was completely renovated in 2013 as a build-to-suit for the headquarters of Milwaukee-based The Dohmen Company. The property was sold to 417 Third Ward, LLC, an affiliate of Madison-based Hovde Properties. Colliers represented the seller 417 East Chicago LLC, an affiliate of Dohmen, and was the sole broker in the transaction.
The sales team included Tom Shepherd, Jennifer Huber-Bullock, and Scott Welsh. This same Colliers team also recently represented affiliate entities of Dohmen in the sales of other assets nearby.
“This value-creation opportunity was exciting to work on as The Historic Third Ward has national cachet and it is viewed as a high barrier to entry neighborhood.,” said Shepherd.
