SimpliSafe Plans an Expanded HQ with 150K-SF Lease in Boston’s Financial District
Boston-based SimpliSafe has executed a 150,000-square-foot lease across four floors at 100 Summer Street that will lead to the expansion and 2022 relocation of its corporate headquarters. The deal was executed in partnership with Cushman & Wakefield and Newmark Group Inc.
100 Summer Street is a 1.1-million-square-foot, class-A tower in Boston’s Financial District. After a custom build-out is completed, the new SimpliSafe headquarters will feature a mix of independent workspaces, focus pods and collaborative group spaces.
“A one-size-fits-all proposition no longer suits today’s workforce, which is why we’re excited to introduce a new office that is designed to empower the SimpliSafe team to work with flexibility,” said SimpliSafe chief people officer, Ai-Li Lim. “We’ve heard from our employees that they want to have a centralized location where they can come together to collaborate and engage in person, while still having the flexibility and autonomy that comes with working from home.”
