Silverstein Properties Names Katie Kurtz as CFO

Katie Kurtz has joined Silverstein Properties as CFO. With more than 15 years’ experience in the financial services sector, Katie will be responsible for Silverstein’s finance and accounting organization.
 
“Over the past several years, Silverstein Properties has become a more sophisticated real estate company from a corporate finance and financial reporting point of view,” said Marty Burger, CEO, Silverstein Properties. “Katie has a long and accomplished history working as a CFO for real estate companies that own properties and have also raised and managed funds. I believe she will be a strong complement to our company, and to our finance organization.”

Before joining Silverstein, Kurtz was an EVP at AR Global.  During her time at ARG, Katie served as CFO, secretary and treasurer for multiple REITs and BDCs. Most recently, she served as CFO, secretary and treasurer for American Finance Trust, Healthcare Trust, Inc. and New York City REIT, Inc.
