Silverback Makes Donations from Hero LIC Sales Contracts

Silverback Development recently announced a collaboration with BRC and LearningSpring School. For the first five sales contracts signed at Silverback’s Hero LIC condominium project in the month of July, the developer will make a $5,000 donation to the buyer’s choice of either nonprofit at closing.

“Giving back to the community is a critical part of what we do,” said Josh Schuster, managing principal, Silverback Development. “Supporting organizations that are committed to improving lives of New Yorkers through improved education opportunities and addressing homelessness is of the upmost importance in these unprecedented times.”

BRC is a nonprofit organization and one of New York City’s largest providers of housing and services for the homeless. Founded in 1971, it now serves nearly 10,000 individuals each year, operating 29 programs throughout the greater metropolitan area.

LearningSpring School works with children coping with autism to advance their social, developmental and academic growth.
