Silverback Development Opens D.C. Office

New York-based real estate developer Silverback Development has opened a new office in Washington D.C. The new office will be headed up by Senior Managing Director Jeff Neal.

Neal carries more than 30 years of experience within the industry. Previously, he was an SVP at Lincoln Property Co. Prior to that, he was a founding principal of Monument Realty, where he completed more than $3 billion in development projects.

The firm’s new office aims to capitalize on the region’s recent job and population growth. Silverback currently has a number of projects under development in the region. Overall, the firm has more than $650 million in projects under development across the country. In addition, the company recently launched a $200 million opportunity zone fund for developments in several metro areas.
