Silver Spring Affordable Apts Breaks Ground 

Enterprise Community Development is set to break ground on Park Montgomery Apartments and Park Montgomery West in Silver Spring, Maryland.  

The development will include the construction of 76 new affordable apartments, known as Park Montgomery West, and the renovation of the existing 141-unit Park Montgomery Apartments. The project is made possible through “twinned” Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC)– 9% for the new apartments and 4% for the existing building.  

Park Montgomery and Park Montgomery West are located on MDOT MTA’s Purple Line, approximately two miles east of downtown Silver Spring. Originally built in 1971, Park Montgomery is a 15-story, high-rise apartment building with an adjacent two-level parking garage.
