Sierra Trading Post to Occupy Former Rite Aid Store

Discount outdoor-outfitting brand Sierra Trading Post will occupy 22,200 square feet in a space formerly occupied by Rite Aid at Alderwood Plaza in Lynnwood, Washington.

The location will be the company’s fourth store in Washington.  The retailer is listed as a tenant at Alderwood Plaza by Merlone Geier Partners, the property manager and owner. The plaza is also home to other tenants, including Ross Dress for Less, HomeGoods and Big 5 Sporting Goods, reported the Puget Sound Business Journal.

The Massachusetts-based chain is part of the T.J. Maxx family of brands, and it sells activewear and outdoor goods. Sierra Trading Post recently opened its third Washington store this month at Sunset Square in Federal Way. Rite Aid filed for bankruptcy in 2023 and is looking to sell nearly 50 stores in the Puget Sound area.
