Heitman LLC has hired Peeyush Shukla as its chief information and technology officer in Chicago. He will lead Heitman’s information technology initiatives and infrastructure group in support of its global investment management business.

Before joining Heitman, Shukla was managing director, data strategy, analytics and multi-asset solutions technology at Nuveen Investments. He was responsible for creating the technology strategy and roadmap for a multi-year, multi-phase, cross-functional effort to develop a cloud-based platform for data management, investment management, and performance and risk management.
