ShopOne-Led Group Acquires 5th Atlanta-Area Retail Center
ShopOne Centers REIT, Pantheon and an unnamed global institutional investor purchased Stockbridge Lakes, a Publix-anchored shopping center in Henry County, the groups fifth retail acquisition in the Atlanta metro area. The shopping center spans nearly 79,000 square feet in total.
Retail Planning Corporation was the seller. The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports it paid $6.3 million for the 13.7-acre site in 2018.
Other retailers at Stockbridge Lakes includes Domino’s Pizza, Burn Boot Camp and Great Clips. Approximately 9,000 square feet of space is empty and ready to lease.
The joint venture between ShopOne, Pantheon and the unnamed investor has a goal of scooping up $1 billion in grocery-anchored shopping centers across the United States.
The group bought four Atlanta-area properties in Kennesaw, Lawrenceville, Cumming and Morrow, all sized between 68,000 square feet and 98,000 square feet.
