Shoe Genius Robert Clergerie at 901 Madison

French luxury shoe designer Robert Clergerie will open at 901 Madison Avenue, between 72nd and 73rd streets, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
“The European flavor has always been important to this stretch of Madison Avenue’s designer row,” said Faith Hope Consolo of Douglas Elliman Real Estate, which arranged the lease.
The storefront will be the U.S. headquarters store for the designer, which is relocating from 62nd St. at Madison. The Paris-based company has 18 boutiques worldwide.
