Shiro’s Sushi to Open Seattle-Area Second Restaurant

The group behind Shiro’s Sushi announced its plans to open ShoMon Kappo Sushi, a kappo-style restaurant just blocks from the sushi restaurant in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood.

The team will open a new sister restaurant on September 6, just blocks away from Shiro’s Sushi in Belltown and bordering South Lake Union. ShoMon Kappo Sushi will be a kappo sushi restaurant that blends tradition and innovation, with the elements of Japan’s formal and kappo restaurants. The beverage menu will include different types of sake, wine, and green tea.

The 26-seat restaurant will offer a multi-course kappo and sushi menu localized in its ingredients. The new restaurant will be located in the Amazon-leased tower at 2301 5th Avenue in Seattle.
