Shipping Company Leases 148K SF at Interchange East

Southern Warehouse and Distribution signed a lease with Prologis for 147,840 square feet at Interchange East Distribution Center in San Antonio. CBRE’s Josh Aguilar and Rob Burlingame represented the landlord in the transaction.

Southern Warehousing is a full-service warehouse and shipping provider. The space for which the tenant signed, at 5050 Stout Dr., has a fenced truck court and parking, 22-foot clear height, 10 dock-high doors, one ramped door and a sprinkler system.

“There is an increasing demand for large bulk warehouse space for local and regional product distribution in the San Antonio market,” Aguilar said. “This transaction represents the continuation of this trend.”

The rail-served Interchange East Distribution Center totals 214,308 square feet. The asset is on San Antonio’s east side, at the intersection of Loop 410 and Interstate 10.
