Ship Essential Signs New Lease at Brooklyn Mixed-Use Complex

Ship Essential, a retail and e-commerce fulfillment firm, has signed a lease for a 20,070-square-foot unit on the fifth floor of Liberty Bklyn in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Madison Capital and Salmar Properties are the landlords of the 1.3 million-square-foot industrial and office complex.

Located at 850 3rd Avenue, Liberty Bklyn recently underwent redevelopment. The facility boasts new features including a 3.2-acre Brooklyn Grange rooftop farm, a 386-spot parking lot, a 60,000-square-foot ground-floor loading zone, on-site dining, reinforced floor loads ranging from 200 to 500 pounds per square foot, new energy-efficient windows, and updated electrical and HVAC systems.

“Liberty Bklyn’s versatility and state-of-the-art infrastructure provide companies with flexible industrial solutions to grow their operations,” said Jonathan Ratner, managing director and head of investment management at Madison Capital.

Pinnacle Realty’s David Junik, Steven Nadel, Marc Caso and Nechama Liberow represented the tenant.
