Shartsis Friese Law Firm to Open New HQ in San Francisco
JLL has arranged a 26,000-square-foot office lease on behalf of Shartsis Friese, LLP on the 11th floor of 425 Market Street in Downtown San Francisco. The move will relocate the storied national law firm’s headquarters for the first time in over 30 years.
The firm is working with Gensler architects and JLL Project and Development Services to create a modern workplace for the staff, which will move into the space in early 2024. JLL’s Hugh Scott, Matt Aljets and Travis James represented Shartsis Friese, while JLL’s Michael Payne leads the interior improvement efforts. The building is owned by MetLife and Norges.
“This is a prime location in San Francisco’s Financial District and marks a significant milestone for the firm,” said Shartsis Friese Managing Partner Neil Koren. “This new space will allow us to support all our legal and administrative support functions and provide us with room for continued growth.”
Cushman & Wakefield’s Zach Siegel and Sam Wasserstein represented the landlord in the transaction.
