SharpLaunch: CRE Marketing is Driven by a Focused Strategy

Analysis of commercial real estate property listings hosted on company websites shows that 92.1% of visits originate from two main channels: direct website traffic (58.5%) and email campaigns (33.6%), SharpLaunch said in its newly released 2025 industry report, The State of CRE Marketing 2025. “This highlights that effective CRE marketing is driven by a focused strategy — not broad distribution — where high-quality content fuels engagement,” the report stated.

The company analyzed user data from thousands of CRE listings to uncover insights about email marketing performance, traffic sources and conversion optimization. The analysis includes data from local and regional firms as well as global institutions marketing properties for sale and lease across all major asset classes. Insights are based on activity recorded between January and August 2025 from SharpLaunch platform users.

The analysis found that CRE email campaigns perform significantly above industry benchmarks when they include specific financial details in subject lines. These include price, cap rate and industry terminology
