Sharp HealthCare Snags Kearny Mesa Office in $27.5M Deal
Sharp HealthCare, one of San Diego’s largest healthcare providers, has purchased a 95,000-square-foot, two-building office complex in the Kearny Mesa submarket of San Diego. Voit Real Estate’s Brandon Keith and Randy LaChance represented the seller, Missouri-based Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. in the $27.5 million deal.
Sharp plans to convert most of the property to medical space. “The buildings offered additional features conducive to medical space conversion, including high ceiling heights, heavy power and a large back-up power generator,” according to LaChance.
Added Keith, “The subject property located on Balboa Avenue, offers easy access to the Interstate 15 and Highway 163 freeways and is unique in that it offers an above standard parking ratio. Ample parking is a critical requirement for medical service providers and often hard to find.”
