Sharko/Weisenbeck Team Brokers Sale of Matteson Retail

Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of a 10,502-square-foot retail property in Matteson, IL.  The asset sold for $5,099,000.

SVPs Austin Weisenbeck and Sean R. Sharko of Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook offic marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a local developer.  The buyer, a Mexico-based limited liability company, was secured and represented by Carlos Cain, a senior associate and investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Denver office.

The deal was part of a multi-property purchase with debt structured by Anita Paryani-Rice, senior managing director, Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation.

Less than a mile from Interstate 57, the shopping center is located at 4801 211th St. in Matteson.  The complex has been 100% occupied by the same four tenants since construction in 2011: Verizon, Chipotle, Five Guys, and Vitamin Shoppe, the latter three tenants having recently executed lease extensions to remain at the site.
