Shared Amenities Allow Smaller Firms to Compete in Recruiting

Today’s employers are increasingly looking for workplace advantages to solve recruiting and retention needs. Small to mid-sized companies without the scale to build highly amenitized corporate campuses can achieve this on campuses with shared amenities and programming, thus competing on a larger scale for recruiting.

Along this vein, Phoenix-based developer George Oliver completed its latest experiential office transformation, The Alexander in downtown Chandler, as companies reintroduce employees back into the workplace. Located at 25 S. Arizona Pl., the 112,000-square-foot office building kicked off with a surge in leasing activity, thanks to an amenity package following George Oliver’s mission to deliver the next-generation office environment.

“At The Alexander, we prioritized the amenities that will encourage employees to come back to the office,” said Curt Kremer, George Oliver managing partner. “The pandemic dramatically shifted how both employees and employers view the workplace. With The Alexander, we’re putting the traditional office behind us – replacing it with wellness-inspired programming, collaborative workspaces and a sense of personal growth that you won’t find in other class-A office environments and that will allow our tenants to benefit from these new demand drivers.”
