Shaffer/Bohbot Team Joins Slatt Capital in LA

Veteran capital markets professionals Bryan Shaffer and Ruben Bohbot have joined Slatt Capital’s Los Angeles office. Shaffer will join as a principal and assume the role of managing director, acting as the player-coach leader of the office. Bohbot joins the firm as VP, focusing on originations and expanding the firm’s lender relations.

“Our Los Angeles office has tripled its headcount in the past nine months, and we believe that Bryan Shaffer is the ideal candidate to lead the region’s next chapter of growth and success,” said CEO Dan Friedeberg at Slatt Capital. “The Shaffer/Bohbot team has a strong track record of execution and success with both traditional debt placement as well as specialized structured finance. We are excited about their addition to our rapidly expanding Southern California presence.”

Shaffer has 35 years of capital markets and commercial real estate finance experience with an extensive history of arranging debt and structured financing for commercial and multifamily properties nationwide. Previously, he served as managing director & principal with George Smith Partners. With more than a decade of experience, Bohbot was most recently a director at George Smith Partners.
