Shackelford, Bowen Takes Space at 717 Texas

Shackelford, Bowen, McKinley & Norton LLP signed a lease with Hines to occupy space at 717 Texas in downtown Houston. The law firm is taking down approximately 15,000 square feet in the 33-story, 697,195-square-foot office tower.

The tenant was represented in lease negotiations by John Amend and J.W. Amend of The Amend Group. Connor Saxe and Win Haggard with Colvill Office Properties represented Hines, the developer, owner and property manager.

“One of the most critical components to our success is our ability to attract talent,” said Shackelford, Bowen’s John Shackelford. “(717 Texas) provides a modern and efficient design, along with the highest-quality amenities and services.” Hines recently completed renovations on the building, which delivered in 2003.
