With more and more workers making the physical return to work at the office (albeit, reluctantly), the downtown area of San Francisco is seeing an uptick in leasing concurrent with the uptick in foot traffic.
The MIRA tower, in San Francisco’s Transbay neighborhood, has added five new retail occupants at ground level, to pair with the 392 luxury condominiums in the floors above.
The retailers are StretchLab, Sweetgreen, Looksie Optometry, Saint Frank Coffee, and Mili Wine Bar. Pam Mendelsohn and Sarah Brett-Schwartz of Maven represented MIRA in all retail negotiations.
Occupying an approximately 1,350-square-foot space, StretchLab offers monthly memberships of four or eight visits per month and drop-in stretches.
Sweetgreen opened in December 2021 and provides healthy meal options out of an approximately 4,510-square-foot storefront, the largest retail space at MIRA.
Looksie Optometry will operate out of the 1,430-square-foot space on Spear Street, offering comprehensive vision exams, a selection of distinctive eyewear and lens solutions, and contact lenses.
Occupying an approximately 1,620-square-foot storefront along Folsom Street, SF-based Saint Frank Coffee will provide the neighborhood with sustainably sourced coffee prepared and served in a sociable café setting.
Mili Wine Bar (website TBD) is a new business founded by a MIRA resident that will be located in the 1,263-square-foot storefront at the corner of Folsom and Spear streets.
