Seyfarth Expands Seattle Real Estate Team with Two New Partners

Law firm Seyfarth has added two new patterns to its Seattle real estate team, announcing the arrival of Courtney Seim and Ian Sutton. The pair were most recently Real Estate and Environmental partners at Summit Law Group.
Seim’s practice focuses on eminent domain, easement issues and title disputes, along with environmental law. She earned a J.D. from UC Davis School of Law where she was the managing editor of the UC Davis Law Review.
Sutton’s practice concentrates on both commercial real estate transactions and development. He advises clients on complex negotiations for all types of sales, acquisitions and leasing as well as environmental matters. He earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from the Seattle University School of Law.
“Courtney and Ian are tremendously skilled lawyers with substantial experience. As we continue to see more development projects across the country, their practices will flourish on Seyfarth’s premier platform,” said Paul Mattingly, chair of Seyfarth’s Real Estate Department.
