Seward & Kissel Extends 170K-SF Lease with Rudin for 11 Years

Rudin has secured a 170,112-square-foot lease extension with law firm Seward & Kissel at One Battery Park Plaza, its 35-story, 800,000 square-foot office tower in Lower Manhattan. With the 11-year extension, the law firm, which has called One Battery home since 2011, will remain in its offices spanning the full 19th through 24th floors.

“We’re excited Seward & Kissel will continue to call One Battery Park Plaza home,” said Michael Rudin, co-CEO at Rudin. “Their renewal extends a remarkable year of leasing at the building and across the portfolio, adding to the momentum of the Downtown market.”

Kevin Daly, VP of Office Leasing and Craig Panzirer, SVP, Head of Office Leasing, represented Rudin in-house. Seward & Kissel was represented by CBRE’s Lewis Miller, Andrew Sussman, Cara Chayet and Scott Sloves. With this transaction, Rudin has secured approximately 260,000 square feet of leasing this year at One Battery Park Plaza, which is now 99% leased.
