Sentinel Real Estate Acquires Oregon Apartment Community

Sentinel Real Estate has acquired Willow Apartments, an upscale mid-rise multifamily community located in Lake Oswego, Oregon, just southeast of downtown Portland.

Completed in 2024, the property is a 158-unit, five-story building that offers a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences. “Willow Apartments aligns with our strategy of acquiring high-quality rental communities situated in markets characterized by limited supply, strong population growth and positive economic fundamentals,” said George Tietjen, Managing Director of Sentinel.

Willow Apartments is located along the Kruse Way suburban office corridor, one of Portland’s employment nodes, with convenient access to Interstate 5 and Highway 217, offering seamless connectivity to the Greater Portland metropolitan area, including downtown Portland, Beaverton and Hillsboro. The property also benefits from immediate access to nearby retail, dining and recreational amenities.

If you’re reading about the multifamily industry, you should be in the room with its leaders. Connect Apartments brings together the executives featured in Connect CRE’s coverage for an afternoon of high-level insights and unmatched networking on September 22 at The Biltmore in LA.
