Sentinel Real Estate Acquires Newly Built West Orange Apartments

BlueGate Partners arranged the sale of Stonehill at West Orange, a newly completed, mid-rise multifamily community in West Orange, NJ, approximately 16 miles west of Manhattan. BlueGate brokered the sale on behalf of the seller. The transaction was led by Mark DeLillo, with Marc Schulder, Lee Spiegelman, Felipe Marin, Eli Zaoutis, and Jeremy Silber on the deal team.

The 423-unit community, completed in 2024, traded to Sentinel Real Estate for an undisclosed sum. George Tietjen, managing director of Sentinel, said, “Stonehill at West Orange’s modern architecture, high-end interiors and abundant, best-in-class amenity suite is representative of our strategy of investing in luxury multifamily assets situated in proximity to diverse employment and lifestyle nodes.”

He continued, “This property is well-positioned to benefit from limited local residential supply, coupled with its convenient accessibility to quality necessity retail, restaurants and easy commute to the tri-state offices of leading companies in the healthcare, education, financial services, pharmaceuticals and technology sectors.”
