Sentinel Capital Joins One Vanderbilt’s Tenant Roster

Middle-market private equity firm Sentinel Capital Partners has signed a 28,448 square foot, 15-year lease for the entire 51st floor at SL Green Realty Corp.’s One Vanderbilt Avenue. The 1,401-foot-tall office property is now 59% leased ahead of its planned August 2020 debut.

“With direct access to Grand Central Terminal, unparalleled amenities, column free floorplates and extraordinary views, One Vanderbilt’s leasing velocity remains robust as we approach the one-year mark from opening,” said SL Green’s Steven L. Durels, EVP and director of leasing and real property.

Already on the supertall tower’s tenant roster are the Carlyle Group, TD Securities and TD Bank, law firms McDermott Will & Emory and Greenberg Traurig, and REIT MFA Financial Inc.

NKF’s Lance Korman and Brian Waterman represented Sentinel Capital Partners. Robert Alexander, Ryan Alexander, Emily Jones and Alex D’Amario of CBRE advised the landlord in this transaction.
