Sentinel Acquires Luxury Apartments in Redlands

Sentinel Real Estate has acquired The Venue at Orange, a recently constructed luxury apartment community located in Redlands. Seller and pricing were not disclosed. Located three miles from Redlands’ historic downtown, the 328-unit, garden-style property was completed in 2023 and comprises seven buildings, including six residential structures and a mixed-use community clubhouse.

“This transaction exemplifies our strategy of acquiring institutional quality apartment communities in desirable suburban areas supported by strong demographic and economic tailwinds, including population growth, diverse employment bases and limited residential supply,” said George Tietjen, managing director of Sentinel. “The Venue at Orange is well-positioned to benefit from these trends.”

Sentinel has been active in the Southern California market throughout its 56-year history and owns five properties in the area. The company said it will continue to leverage its market expertise and deep industry relationships to identify attractive investment opportunities and expand its portfolio in the region.
