Semiconductor Supplier Rinchem Building Plant in Phoenix Suburb
Rinchem chose the site because of its proximity to the Taiwan Semiconductor $12 billion manufacturing plant in north Phoenix. It will be ready before the end of the year.
The new 123,516-square-foot warehouse in Surprise will be the third Valley facility for Rinchem, which has one of the largest networks of chemical and gas distribution centers globally and handles more than 4 billion pounds of chemicals and gases per year. “Expanding Rinchem’s footprint in Arizona awards us the ability to continue to position ourselves to support both the chemical and semiconductor manufacturers’ expansions,” said Rinchem’s Matt Jensen. Graycor Construction Co. is building the chemical warehouse.
Rinchem’s new class A facility will feature specialized warehouse space, administrative offices, shipping and receiving capabilities and an 11-truck loading dock. The main building will include high bay and freezer bay chemical storage and flat concrete floors. Six pads will also provide capacity for maximum chemical containment for safety purposes. Rinchem purchased the 21 acres for $4.1 million in 2021.
