Selective Insurance Inks Headquarters Lease in Short Hills

Cushman & Wakefield negotiated a new long-term headquarters lease for Selective Insurance at 103 John F Kennedy Pkwy. in Short Hills, NJ. The insurance group leased 122,525 square feet and will begin occupancy in 2026.

A Cushman & Wakefield team of David DeMatteis, Robert Rudin, Jan Randall, and Christina Magill represented Selective Insurance. Landlord Columbia Pacific Advisors, LLC, was represented by Timothy Greiner and Mike Pietrowicz of JLL.

“We are pleased to have represented Selective Insurance Group, a long-term prominent New Jersey client, in securing this prime and significant office building in a sought-after location,” said DeMatteis.

The new location is in a key transportation hub, offering commuter and business travel options via major highways, airports, rail and bus. The building sits directly across from Short Hills Mall and Eataly.

Columbia Pacific Advisors has committed to a comprehensive modernization of the property. Selective Insurance is partnering with Mancini Duffy to design its new space.
