Sega Opens North American Headquarters in Irvine

Sega Opens North American Headquarters in Irvine

Interactive entertainment company Sega of America has officially opened their North American headquarters at Innovation Office Park in Irvine, CA. The 32,000-square-foot space facilitates up to 235 employees from the company’s publishing departments as well as those of the ATLUS GAMES subsidiary.

The Sega of America team celebrated the grand opening with a ceremony that welcomes back local employees and featured appearances by Sega Corporation CEO Shuji Utsumi and the iconic Sonic the Hedgehog. The space will facilitate onsite collaboration, creative ideation and streaming opportunities for workers with and indoor and outdoor flow and colorful branding.

“The opening of the new Sega of America headquarters in Irvine represents a new era for one of the gaming world’s most esteemed brands,” said Utsumi. “We’re so proud to introduce this amazing new space for collaboration and creativity for the Sega of America family.”
